Beware printer ink FUD

Before you ask, FUD stands for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt.

This is a well known marketing technique that is often used by suppliers to persuade you not to purchase competitive products.

And when it comes to purchasing printer ink and toner cartridges, FUD could be used to strongly suggest that if you do not purchase the manufacturer's own brand, your printer may experience any number of weird and wonderful problems, or your warranty may be invalidated.

Recognise FUD for what it is, and if a low-cost alternative comes along that does not compromise quality or cause contractual problems, then why not try it!

And of course this may include refilled cartridges which are course will be great for the environment, as it avoids the manufacture of new products.
