Submitting an Article or Link
Just to let you know how the Energy Saving Centre manages the submission of energy articles and links....
For Energy Articles
The Energy Saving Centre encourages you to...
- Provide articles and tips that are topical, interesting and preferably covering a single topic
- Provide original content. Especially avoid 'cut-and-pasting' text that has already been published on the Internet
- Work to an article length of 250-1000 words, although this is only a guideline
- For advertising purposes, choose keywords and anchor text that are realistic for your page ranking ambitions
The Energy Saving Centre will however...
- Charge a fee of £50 to cover our administration, copy-editing, formatting and checking any links you have provided
- For improved relevance, offer to link anchor text between multiple articles on this site, but only articles you own
- Occasionally offer to publish an article free of charge where we feel it would be of significant interest to our readers. In this instance we will provide attribution if requested, but be unable to provide links.
For Useful Links
The Energy Saving Centre may...
- Change the subject headings the link resides in to better reflect the area of interest served by the website.
- Occasionally depart from its normal convention of listing links in alphabetical order
- Charge a small fee of £10 to cover the management costs of inserting a link on this website
- Following publication, charge £10 for any future modification to the link or its content
- Any fees paid will ensure your link is posted on our site for a minimum of one year
- Reject a link request to a website that may not meet current Distance Selling Regulations legislation
- Remove a link for any reason at any time
You have the right to...
- Ask us to remove your link at any time, providing we have the appropriate authority from your organisation
Relating to all sections
The Energy Saving Centre may...
- Refuse to post any submitted material for whatever reason
- No work will be carried out until cleared funds have been received
- Remove any content for whatever reason unless we have accepted payment to provide an agreed service
- Assume the copyright in any submitted information. Paid content however will remain the copyright of the author
- Assume all information provided is the property of the person requesting submission. In all cases the person submitting takes full responsibility and indemnifies the Energy Saving Centre against any possible legal action that may arise as a consequence of our publishing it
- If we are made aware of any copyright infringements, we will remove the content irrespective of whether or not payment has been received
- We cannot guarantee that any article will be page ranked, nor its position on any search results
- We only accept links and content with a relevance to the UK consumer, unless there is an exceptional overriding reason
